Paradise, that’s what grandfather named the meadows below Sven-the-hook. Now they’re overgrown with brushwood, but in the past lay the wheat fields that plunged all the way down to the creek. On the other side of the creek rose Hemberget over to which the old village road used to slither its way towards Norrfors, while to the west you could see Mora with its wonderful green pastures. You could see the vast landscape open up from Paradise, blinded by the sun, embedded in its safe embrace. That’s how Tvärvägen sounds. Like the memory of that hidden Paradise. The naked sound is undeniably close. Each instrument appears to be an old sturdy pine, as if you could dare to lean and rest against the rough surface. Each melody comes to you as the wind that touches the oat straw, natural and remarkable, while the harmonies glide like paper planes.
“Staring directly into the sun” is Tvärvägens second album.

Yesterday they played “Believes” and said some sweet, sweet words about the lovely guitars, the nice summery touch of the song and referred to bands like Ride and the Radio Dept. Happy, happy, joy joy. Listen! And guess what. Today Double Sun received the 7” in Malmö.

Finally we can present a brand new song from Tvärvägen with another animated video. The song “Dans för två” will be part of the LP “Staring directly into the sun” that will be released February 27 on Hare Tracks. The album will also be released digitally.
